MSIST Concentration Options

Cybersecurity

As the world moves towards a more connected future, IPv4 shows clear limitations. Consequently, many forward-thinking organizations are already adopting dual stack support for both IPv6 and IPv4. Although this transition brings challenges, it is a critical measure to ensure security. Until IPv4 is fully phased out, organizations remain exposed to costly vulnerabilities. For example, these include ARP spoofing, Man-in-the-Middle attacks, and network reconnaissance. Choose this concentration to get a strong understanding and earn an accredited cybersecurity masters degree.

Technology Management

In this concentration, you will learn to bridge the gap between technical teams and business goals. Specifically, we focus on leading digital transformations and managing complex IT infrastructures. As a result, you will graduate ready to oversee high-level technology projects with an information systems degree.
