Andrew brings a wealth of leadership experience from his 10-year tenure in the Navy, which has proven invaluable in his professional pursuits. During his service, he completed his MBA and sought a valuable program to propel his career further. The California School of Management & Leadership at Alliant proved to be the ideal institution, known for its diversity, academic rigor and innovativeness.

Andrew believes his tenure at Alliant has been an exceptional experience, enabling him to progress in his previous role as a Department of Defense contractor. Having completed over five terms, he has now secured his "dream job", further validating his decision to attend Alliant.

Andrew has had the privilege of participating in two consulting projects as part of his program curriculum. In the first project, he and his team worked with CalTier, a renowned microfunding, crowdsourcing, and real estate company. This experience proved to be highly valuable for Andrew, as he was able to gain a deeper understanding of real-world business challenges and enhance his problem-solving skills. Through his interactions with his professor, classmates, and company owners, Andrew was able to gain diverse perspectives and insights that enriched his learning experience.

As a team, they devised an effective consulting strategy for CalTier, which the company acknowledged through constructive feedback. Andrew attributes this experience to his professional growth, enabling him to leverage it during his job searches, with significant success.

Andrew's second industry project was with the San Diego French-American Chamber of Commerce, which proved to be an exhilarating opportunity to work with international professionals seeking to attract businesses to San Diego or Southern California.

Andrew and his team's objective was to devise practical solutions to encourage companies to engage in local commerce, providing effective consulting tips to achieve this end. Since this company operates as a non-profit organization, and its resources are constrained, the company's values aligned closely with Andrew's doctoral pursuits, focusing on social responsibility and community impact.

Through this project, Andrew gained valuable experience in addressing complex business challenges and making a positive impact on society.

Andrew's ultimate aspiration is to attain his doctoral degree, driven by a passion to help others through research. His motivation stems from a deep desire to contribute positively to society, making a difference in people's lives.

Andrew views Alliant International University's faculty and culture as exceptional, exceeding his expectations concerning diversity and community spirit. The university's focus on the above-mentioned has enabled Andrew to broaden his perspectives and challenge his comfort zone.
